Good Afternoon ICP!

Just wanted to let everyone know that our program and supporters on the Portland and California side have made it home safely from our showing in the Presidents Day tourney this weekend. We appreciate everyone who made it up this weekend, as we were well represented at all levels. It was overwhelming to witness ALL of the love that was shared between both factions. Our kids and parents carried a genuine concern for one another and demonstrated our support for each other throughout the tourney.

ICP clearly had the biggest presence of the weekend, as we showed up in huge numbers for the entire weekend. Our kids competed at every level as we carried ourselves with class in victory and defeat.

We are now at the mid point of our season, as coaches are working on mid season evaluations for ALL players. the purpose of these evaluations are to let each player and their families know what skills each athlete needs to improve on during the second half of our season. although every athlete can improve in every area we feel that all of our kids need more work in certain areas more than others.

We will be in the gym working on individual skill development over the next 2 months. This time will allow all of our athletes to get plenty of reps in, as well as improve our strength and conditioning as we approach the final swing into the spring/ summer.

Whether it was carpooling, housing, meals, drinks or just supervision, we as a staff DO appreciate the VILLAGE approach when it comes to ALL of our kids. Lets keep this spirit in mind as many of our kids dont have the family and financial suppprt that some of our children have.

THANK YOU for getting all of your paperwork in. If you have not submitted your AAU card please do so THIS WEEKEND. If you have made payment arrangements, please follow thru with your plan. ICP 2008/2009 account balances have been emailed to everyone. It is very important that we receive ALL fees as this is our primary revenue stream and without 100% support we can not run our programs day to day operations.
